The purpose of WebD2 is to offer members the opportunity for:
- Learning and Sharing
- Student Driven Leadership
- Develop Personal Portfolios
- Build Individual Websites
Our members meet to build individual websites as well as update our club website. We gain knowledge from each other, our advisor and designated program materials in the NWTC library.
This web experience is used in a personal portfolio when seeking either an internship or employment. While we are learning new techniques in classes and in meetings we are also learning the special interests each of us have and this assists us in networking.
We believe the knowledge we gain over the semesters will increase our value to potential employers. Through working together we will build our professional skills and be well-prepared for the workforce upon graduation.
The second and fourth Thursday of each month from 3:00pm - 4:00pm in BI325.
We have our community service project to complete before the end of the semester adding images to the Hunter Vincent website.
We'll also continue the work on the club website and the work with WordPress.
The WebD2 Club is always working on developing fun events for the students and staff of NWTC. Please stay tuned for further updates!!
