 NWTC students and staff featured in new art exhibit

The artwork of Northeast Wisconsin Technical College students, instructors and staff is featured in a new exhibit in the NWTC Art Gallery. The exhibit, “The Artisan Center Showcase”, features ceramics, textiles, jewelry, woodturning and mixed media. The work is on display now through May 15.downsizedphotoartisan.jpg

The 11 artists showcased in the exhibit include NWTC ArtWalk 2013 “Best in Show” winner and woodturner Mark Motquin, textile artists Dierdra Stary, Linda VanDeHey, and Terri Petasek; Ashley Scriven, Steve Jagemann, and Rita Bluma, who submitted ceramic pieces, jewelry-makers Sue DeVillers and Michelle Zjala Winter, mixed media artist Deile Smith, and woodturner Kelly Bresnahan. Many of show's 34 pieces are available for purchase.

The public is invited an artist’s reception May 15 from 6 – 8 p.m. Light refreshments will be available.

The NWTC Art Gallery is located in the Library on the second floor of the Student Center on the Green Bay campus. The gallery is open to the public during normal Library hours. Admission is free. Visit for Library hours and more information.
