Small business owners learn how jewelry entrepreneur used social media to take a small business to bigger audience
It's a big leap to take your business from Green Bay, Wisconsin to Cosmopolitan magazine, and NWTC wants local small business owners to hear how it can be done. A former Green Bay woman whose business now attracts national publicity and a Hollywood following will be at NWTC's Artisan and Business Center this month to speak to other small business owners.
Nissa Wegeniek will speak May 8 at a workshop for entrepreneurs, sponsored by Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. The event is being organized by NWTC’s Entrepreneur Resource Center and the NWTC Artisan and Business Center.
She will discuss how she used social media as a strategy to build her business, and what tools she currently uses to track and improve their effectiveness. The workshop is intended for any business owner, artisan or entrepreneur who is interested in taking a product to a larger market.
Nissa’s jewelry has been featured in style articles in Cosmopolitan, Us Magazine, In Style, People, Better Homes & Gardens, Real Simple, Seventeen, Self, Women’s Health, Lucky, Family Circle, Sports Illustrated, Marie Claire and more. Her full story is at http://www.nissajewelry.com/aboutus.asp.
