 Professional Engineers: meet professional development requirements June 3

Options meet 2014 requirements, including 2 hours of ethics

Professional Engineers can meet their July 2014 Continuing Education requirement or brush up on their skills in June at NWTC.

NWTC’s Corporate Training and Economic Development department will offer a one-day conference for Professional Engineers on June 3.  Participants can choose 4 topics of interest and earn 8 PDH's (if they attend the full day).  Offerings include the required ETHICS and CONDUCT class, giving attendees the required 2 PDH's.

Topics:

  • Ethics and Conduct for Engineers
  • Project Management (4 separate classes offered)
  • OSHA (Lock-out/Tag-out and Electrical Safety)
  • Building Codes
  • Strategic Planning
  • Moving from Technical Expert to a Leadership role
  • Concrete Design
  • Variable Frequency Drives for Non-electrical Engineers
  • Foundation and Concrete Retaining Walls

 

Professional Engineering Conference details

DATE:  Tuesday, June 3, 2014

TIME:   8:00 am - 4:45 pm   Registration begins at 7:30AM

PLACE:  NWTC Corporate Conference Center
NWTC-Green Bay

COST:  $199 (includes lunch, materials and morning refreshments)
