Prospective students and the public can get an in-depth look at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College’s Woodland Regional Technical Academy during an open house Tuesday, March 11 from 5 – 8 p.m. The Woodland Regional Technical Academy is located within Hillcrest School in the Town of Aurora. Attendees can enter through the main doors.

During the open house, students, parents and the general public can meet with instructors and staff, tour the school’s labs, learn about careers in Engineering Technology and the healthcare industry, and participate in hands-on demonstrations.

The general public is invited to tour the Academy from 5 – 6 p.m.  From 6 - 8 p.m., group tours will be offered for prospective students and their parents.  Individual tours will also be available. Refreshments will be provided.

The Woodland Regional Technical Academy is a collaborative partnership between NWTC and the school districts of Florence, Goodman and Niagara. High school juniors and seniors that attend can take NWTC courses and earn dual credit – which are credits that can be applied to high school and college.

"The Woodland Regional Technical Academy provides students with an excellent opportunity to get a jump start on their college career. The updated facility is a wonderful space for learning, and we’re excited to open our doors to welcome the community and students," said Sally Miller, the manager of NWTC's North Regional Learning Center.

No registration is required for the event. For more information, call 715-251-3790 or email
