(Green Bay) Northeast Wisconsin Technical College has been named one of the 2009 Top Colleges & Universities for Women by Professional Woman’s Magazine. NWTC is listed in the magazine’s winter issue.
The magazine’s “Top Companies Lists” issue is part of Olive Tree Publishing’s “Best of the Best” Annual Review Series which identifies corporations that are providing the best opportunities for minorities. Organizations for PWM’s annual Top Companies Lists issue are chosen “based on the effort a company has made as a unique diversity employer and success within their industry.” The annual evaluation studies the areas of diversity plans and policies, minority recruitment, advancement opportunities, number of minorities employed, number of minorities in upper level management, and others. According to the magazine, evaluation results are based on surveys that were collected throughout the year and comprehensive information gathered for the selection process.
Olive Tree Publishing, Inc., Riverside, Calif., publishes Professional Woman’s Magazine, The Black EOE Journal, and the Hispanic Network Magazine.
