 NWTC Announces Open Board Positions

Northeast Wisconsin Technical College is currently accepting applications for three open positions on the NWTC District Board of Trustees.

Open positions include the following: Employee Representative, Employer Representatve, and School District Administrator Representative.

Each of the three appointments will be for three-year terms beginning on July 1, 2009. In accordance with the Appointment Committee’s Plan of Representation, of the three members appointed, one member will represent Kewaunee/Manitowoc Counties, and two members will represent Brown/Outagamie Counties.

Due to the distribution of minority population within the District, the NWTC Board of Trustees must include one minority representative. Of the three members appointed, at least one member must be from an ethnic minority group. In the appointment process, equal consideration is given to the general population distribution within the District as well as to the distribution of women and minorities on the Board. 

Applicants must submit at least two letters of reference and must attend a public hearing of the District Board Appointment Committee on March 19, 2009, at 5:00 p.m., in the District Board Room of the NWTC-Green Bay Campus. At the public hearing, applicants will be interviewed by the Appointment Committee.
