Thursday, October 20, 5 p.m. – NWTC East Regional Learning Center-Luxemburg

(Luxemburg, Wis.) Area residents interested in achieving their career goals close to home are invited to a free informational session at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College later this month.

The NWTC East Regional Learning Center-Luxemburg will hold the “Getting Started” session on Thursday, October 20, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the center, 133 Commerce Drive/Hwy 54, Luxemburg. Registration is not required. Free refreshments will be available.

During the event, an NWTC academic advisor will be on hand to show prospective students how to finance their college education, answer questions about admission and the application process, and share information about the degrees, certificates, and courses available at the center.

“This is a great opportunity for anyone who’s looking to change or jumpstart their careers,” said Sarah Nelson, NWTC Luxemburg coordinator. “Visitors to our center may be surprised to learn the number of classes and programs available to them locally, saving them drive time and gas expenses.”

Students interested in applying to NWTC that night are asked to bring the following: $30.00 application fee, recent tax information, social security number, and any questions for NWTC staff.

One-on-one appointments with the NWTC academic advisor are available earlier that day from 11:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. To schedule an appointment, or for more information, call (920) 845-5945.
