When you contribute to the NWTC Alumni Challenge for the Student Emergency Fund, you are helping students receive the emergency financial assistance that enables them to stay at NWTC and reach their goals.
What is the
Student Emergency Fund?
The Student Emergency Fund is an emergency grant assistance program designed to help students receive both financial assistance to get them through their emergency, as well as access to additional resources and student services that help students reach their educational goals, ultimately helping to secure a better future for themselves and their families.
$33,018 funds have been disbursed since 2010,
which has helped 400 students.
YOUR GIFT WILL
$25 becomes $50.
$100 becomes $200.
$1,000 becomes $2,000.
NWTC received a $150,000 challenge grant from the U.S. Department of Education to support the Student Emergency Fund. When we raise $150,000 in new contributions, we will receive $150,000 in matching funds!
Web Development Student, Rich Tesch, had a May 2014 graduation goal. His goal almost did not happen due to a broken alternator. In Rich's case, the SEF covered his vehicle repair, allowing him to continue delivering pizzas and graduate.
