Student success story:
Cindy, a single mother juggling work, family and school. She started at NWTC in 2006, earning her
General Educational Development (GED®) certificate. Today, with the help of scholarships, Cindy is
driven to graduate with an associate degree – fulfilling her dream of becoming a registered nurse.
Ways to help:
- General Scholarship Fund: students are struggling every day to pay for the much-needed education
that will give them a better quality of life.
- Named, Memorial or Honorary Scholarship: a special way to recognize a loved one or express your own
generosity. With an investment of at least $500, you can associate an individual, corporate or family name
with a scholarship.
- NWTC Fund: support top priorities such as service learning, new learning opportunities, crisis needs,
equipment, technology, special outreach projects, staff development and student support.
- Planned Giving: consider including the NWTC Foundation in your will. Estate and financial planning
may make it possible for you to give a substantial gift.
- Endowment: Create a lasting legacy! A contribution of at least $10,000 will provide satisfaction knowing
that you are creating opportunities forever.
- Naming Opportunities: recognizing significant philanthropic gifts with the opportunity to name facilities,
facility components and/or academic entities
