A Beneficiary Designation Gift
While many individuals choose to support NWTC students through a gift in their will or estate plan, others prefer the flexibility of a gift via beneficiary designation. It’s an easy way to support NWTC students without incurring the expense of updating your will. A beneficiary designation gift can be completed in minutes.
The following assets all have the ability to be designated, and you may choose the exact percentage you wish the NWTC Educational Foundation to receive:
- IRA's and retirement plans
- Life insurance policies
- Donor advised funds
- Commercial annuities
- Bank accounts, Certificates of Deposit, or Brokerage Accounts
How It Works
- Request a beneficiary designation form from your financial institution or insurance provider.
- Name NWTC Educational Foundation, Inc. as a full, partial, primary, or contingent beneficiary.
- Return the completed form according to the provider's instructions.
Upon your passing, the designated assets will be distributed to the NWTC Educational Foundation and used according to your wishes.
If you have any questions, please contact Kathy Rechner in the Foundation office at kathy.rechner@nwtc.edu or 920-498-5541.
