Youth Apprenticeship is a two-year program for high school juniors and seniors students combining classroom instruction and paid on-the-job training. Students gain a set of skills and abilities by learning in the classroom and work setting.
High school credit transfer allows high school students to acquire credit for prior learning through agreements between their high school and NWTC.
This program allows qualified high school juniors and seniors to take post-secondary (college-level) classes at NWTC. It is beneficial for students who:
- Are considering a technical career.
- Wish to begin college early.
- Want to prepare to enter the workforce immediately after high school graduation.
