The Center for Global Cultures provides:

• Bilingual assistance
• Assistance with financial aid application and the admissions process.
• General counseling and advising.
• Peer mentoring to help students adjust to college.
• Tutoring services.
• Support in developing a Personal Learning Plan (PLP).
• Personal and social support.
• Scholarships

The Center for Global Cultures also offers:

• Career planning, tutoring services, community support agencies, on-campus and community services.
• GED® or High School Equivalency Diploma program
  (GED is a registered trademark of the American Council on Education and may not be used or reproduced without the express written permission of the American Council on Education.)
• Referrals tp High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED Tests)
• Associate Degree or Technical Diploma
• Information about NWTC in the Spanish and Hmong languages.
• Computers and Internet access. 
• Resume writing tips.
• Employment services to help students/graduates enter the workforce.
• Cultural and social activities including international food sharing
• Support of student organizations, including:  Global Connections (GC), Asian American Student Association (AASA), NWTC Hispanic American Student Association (NHASA), Intertribal Student Council, and African American Student Association.

Program Entry/Admissions Assistance

An Advisor is also available to help students evaluate test results, determine program readiness and develop a personalized learning plan.
