General Resources - Internships - Career / Study Abroad
While the focus of Teach Global is to provide resources to instructors, we also supply some resources to student-oriented websites for you to refer your students to.   
GENERAL RESOURCES

International SOS -  An international healthcare, medical assistance, and security services company. Helps organizations manage the health and security risks for their international travelers and expatriates. (students)  

IELTS - International English Language Testing System - English proficiency test. 

WTCS International Education Committee website. The WTCS International Education Standing Committee will collaboratively foster the internationalization of learning to develop globally competent citizens.

NAFSA International Education Marketplace  -  Provides links to information on education, internships, work abroad programs, learning resources and many other support services and for students.  

CIEE A non-profit, non-governmental international exchange organization. For U.S. students, faculty, and administrators, CIEE offers programs including study abroad, teach abroad, and faculty development seminars. For those interested in coming to the U.S. on an exchange program, options range from high school programs to J-1 work and internship opportunities.

Global UGRAD is a student exchange program administered by IREX

SEED - Scholarships for Education and Economic Development – a competitive grant for hosting international students at US institutions. 

Study Wisconsin-  A collaborative initiative which helps international students learn more about schools in Wisconsin.  

SEVIS/Visas - Student and Exchange Visitor Information System F1 visa Full-time, degree seeking international student Visa, for those coming to the United States.  J1 Visa Exchange Visa-- the J1 is a non-immigrant visa for those who are "Exchange Visitors".  J-1 exchange visitors travel to the United States through a Department of State approved sponsor program to teach, study, receive training or demonstrate special skills.    

CBYX Congress-Budestag Youth Exchange Program - For German students coming to the U.S.     

CISI - Provides comprehensive insurance coverage, travel assistance and claim paying capabilities to international students and cultural exchange participants worldwide.  

INTERNSHIPS
AIESEC  -  "AIESEC United States makes it easy for companies to acquire and train top international talent and helps students find amazing international internship opportunities and develop their leadership skills."   
 
The Mountbatten Institute  - The Mountbatten Institute Internships in N. America, Europe, and India with certification and MBA options. "The Mountbatten Institute promotes educational and business links around the world.  We aim to give graduates and young professionals the opportunity to gain practical and theoretical business training and experience, whilst also developing social and cultural awareness and understanding."
 
CAREER - STUDY ABROAD

GESA - Global Education Skills Alliance is a non-profit U.S. based education consortium with life changing and career goals at its forefront. This opportunity offers 2-year colleges and intuition students study abroad and employability opportunities and professional development for faculty, administrators, and staff of GESA Education Member institutions.

WTCS Study Abroad - WTCS colleges offer options to appeal to students in many different program areas from technical fields, to health care, to arts, humanities, and social sciences.   

International Jobs Center  -  The site sets up members with job vacancies and advertising for employers.  It has a monthly newspaper, International Employment Hotline.

NWTC Center for Global Cultures - Offers students, staff and community members a minimum of 2 Study Abroad opportunities per academic year.

Transitions Abroad.com  -  Articles on student jobs abroad and working overseas.     

ICISP Illinois Consortium for International Studies and Programs  - Study Abroad programs to various locations such as Austria, England, Ireland, Spain, Costa Rica, France and more.

Study Abroad Alumni Program - Helps returning study abroad students through transition by encouraging them to pursue their international interests and providing them the resources to do so.
