 Professional Engineering Conference

​The Corporate Training and Economic Development department at NWTC is happy to offer a one-day mini conference for Professional Engineers to meet their July 2014 continuing education requirement.  This one -day conference will offer a variety of different topics relative to the engineering field allowing participants to choose 4 different topics of interest.  Attendees will receive 8 PDH's by attending the full day conference.   We will offer the required ETHICS and CONDUCT class as a part of the conference giving attendees the required 2 PDH's.

Topics:

  • Ethics and Conduct for Engineers
  • Project Management (4 separate classes offered)
  • OSHA (Lock-out/Tag-out and Electrical Safety)
  • Building Codes
  • Strategic Planning
  • Moving from Technical Expert to a Leadership role
  • Concrete Design
  • Variable Frequency Drives for Non-electrical Engineers

Participants will choose 4 different topics to attend.  Each topic is worth 2 PDH's

PLACE:  NWTC Corporate Conference Center (Green Bay Campus)

COST:  $199 (includes lunch, materials and morning refreshments)

8:00 am  Welcome and Kick-off

8:15 am - 10:00 pm   -   SESSION 1

10:15 am - 12:00 pm   - SESSION 2

12:00 pm -12:50    LUNCH

1:00 pm - 2:45 pm  - SESSION 3

3:00 pm - 4:45 pm  - SESSION 4
