Verbal Judo Instructors: Now you can earn Recertification where and when you wish--over the Internet!
Persuasion is a critical tool in law enforcement. Verbal Judo is a nationally-recognized training program that focuses on using persuasion to redirect others' behavior and generate voluntary compliance.
-
Now, for the first time, Verbal Judo Instructors can earn Instructor Recertification online.
Skip the travel time, conserve those training dollars, and learn from the best--on your own schedule.
The course is offered through a partnership between Verbal Judo Online University and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Participants will learn directly from George J. Thompson, Ph.D., President and Founder of the Verbal Judo Institute and a former law enforcement officer.
Participants will:
- Work directly with Dr. Thompson using live chat (by appointment) and email.
- Interact, learn and take required tests online.
- Receive assessments and feedback from Dr. Thompson himself.
What to expect:
- Course length: We allow 3 months for completion. Estimate 24-40 hours of learning to complete the course (depending on your familiarity with Verbal Judo and online learning).
- Intensive learning: Students must complete extensive reading, download and discuss videos, and "post" at least 10 times during the course.
- Subject mastery: Each section of the class is followed by a test. Students will score 100% before being allowed to tackle the next section.
- Real results: Dr. Thompson reviews students' teaching materials and teaching techniques, then works with each participant through several required "chats" by phone or via computer conference.
