 Reinspired

The joy of learning is what brings many plus-50 adults back to the classroom.

For you, education is an opportunity to “re-invent” yourself -- and to find peers who share your interests. It is a way to keep up with what is going on in the world. It contributes to your personal growth. There is something satisfying about learning something new, whether it’s gourmet cooking, digital photography or painting.

Many adults are also looking for a way to help others.

You’ve seen tremendous change in the world, and you know how powerful a few committed individuals can be. The Plus 50 initiative can help you put your experience to work with people who share your values, and to creating opportunities to share your experience with the next generation. NWTC offers service-learning projects in nearly every program area in the College that can connect you with organizations that need your skills.
