 College 101

​What does it take to be successful in college?

Study skills, college resources, goal setting, and time management can help. You'll develop these tools and strategies in College 101, a one-credit course required for graduation. Take this class before or during your first semester.

College 101 will become a graduation requirement starting summer 2014 (Term 2145).

Why College 101?

According to national data, students who take college success courses like College 101 are, well, more successful. In College 101, you'll learn about instructor expectations; how to study more effectively; ways to handle the balancing act for success at school, work, and home; and how to seek help when you need it. Best of all, you may find future study partners, lunch buddies, and lifelong friends right in your College 101 classroom!

  • New degree or diploma program students
  • Pre-program students
  • Students on a program waitlist

Tip! Take College 101 before or during the first semester of your actual academic program. Add College 101 to your next semester's enrollment.
