What is a Student Ambassador?
Student Ambassadors are a diverse and energetic group of students that represent many facets of campus life. Ambassadors take great pride in Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and strive to show this pride in the events we host and the services we provide. As ambassadors, individuals serve as student representatives when welcoming and hosting potential students, their family and friends. Ambassadors assist with events all across campus, including tours, College Preview Nights, Campus Career Days, Tech Challenge, and Knowledge Bowl.
What types of events and activities does an Ambassador participate in?
Student Ambassadors participate in a variety of events, such as giving campus tours and working at College Preview Night. An ambassador will give tours, help with registration, direct guests, and assist in promoting their programs. Ambassadors represent the College and all of the students.
What is the time commitment for an Ambassador?
Student Ambassadors have general meetings throughout the school year. These meetings will be posted and an e-mail will be sent at least one week prior to the meeting. The time commitment will be approximately 5 hours monthly. If an ambassador has two unexcused absences, they will move from an active to inactive ambassador member list.
