NWTC Student Ambassador Program

Basic Functions and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Events/Middle School Specialist (Erica Gilson), Student Ambassadors serve as a primary contact for potential new NWTC Students.

Essential Job Functions

1. Conduct tours of NWTC facilities upon request.
2. Assist with annual Campus Preview Night, Campus Career Days, Tech Challenge, and other special events.
3. Present information about NWTC to a wide variety of audiences, including facilities and program information. This knowledge will be acquired through a mandatory training program provided by the recruitment staff.
4. Demonstrate a commitment to the College’s values of excellence, respect, and integrity.
5. Other duties as assigned by the recruitment staff.

Qualifications

1. Enrolled in Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.
2. One-year customer service experience preferred.

1. Motivated to contribute to the success of the college.
2. Flexibility and willingness to help with recruitment activities.
3. Reliable.
4. Availability to work an occasional evening.
5. Ability to speak in front of large and small groups.
6. Skills in communication and human relations with a diverse population.
