  • Only online students can request withdrawal authorization via e-mail (no form needed) to their instructor.
  • It is the instructor’s discretion to approve or disapprove an official withdrawal (maintaining the “W” grade).
  • The instructor will forward the Withdrawal e-mail request to the Dean or Associate Dean for final approval. (please include the students ID#, term and class #.)
  • If approved, the Dean or Associate Dean will forward the e-mail request to ESSpecialist@nwtc.edu for processing.
  • The instructor and student will be sent an e-mail confirming that the withdrawal has been processed. For verification purposes , the student’s mailing address will be included in this e-mail.
