Housing and Transportation

Students at NWTC make their own off-campus housing arrangements. NWTC keeps a list of private housing units which are called in to the College. Vacancies included in NWTC’s housing list are not affiliated with NWTC, not endorsed by NWTC, and not exclusive to NWTC students. Each property is the sole responsibility of its private-sector owner(s) and is regulated by local units of government.See below for each campus information.

GREEN BAY CAMPUS

NWTC-Green Bay is located on State Highway 54 (Mason Street), just west of Interstate 41. Parking is free. The campus is served by city buses. Riders should call the Green Bay Transit Information Center, 124 N. Adams St., Green Bay, at (920) 448-3450 (or 448-3453 TTD line) for specific schedules and maps. Green Bay is also served by Greyhound Bus Lines and Austin Straubel International Airport, from which taxis and city buses can transport visitors to campus.

STURGEON BAY CAMPUS

Sturgeon Bay can be reached via State Highway 57. Public transportation to and within Sturgeon Bay has not yet been established. Sturgeon Bay Campus Yellow Pages.

MARINETTE CAMPUS

U.S. 41 brings visitors to Marinette. The community is also served by Twin County airport in Menominee, MI, and Greyhound bus service, from which taxis can bring visitors to campus. Marinette Campus Yellow Pages.

STUDENT ACCIDENT AND SICKNESS INSURANCE PLAN

NWTC offers a Health Insurance Plan endorsed by the Wisconsin Technical College System. This plan is administered by Student Assurance Services.
