New Student Orientation 

Mandatory orientations are held at specific times throughout the year for students who are accepted into a NWTC program. Once you are accepted into a program you will receive an email in your NWTC email account regarding your specific orientation date.

 There are three parts to the on-campus Student Orientations:

1. General NWTC information and the services available to students
• Advising and Counseling services
• Payment & refund information
• Financial Aid
• Scholarship opportunities
• Tutoring services 
• Books
• Transfer of credit from other colleges
2. Program-specific breakout sessions
• Meet your instructor
• Learn what is expected of you as a student
• Class suggestions
3. Registering for classes
• Get help picking out a class schedule that works for you
