ADVANCED READING PROGRAM PREP PART 2 ...vocabulary, thinking, study, and reading strategies to read materials equivalent to grades 11 to 12.9.

Goals:

Pre/Co-requisites:
Reading score of grade level 11 to 12.9 on Tests of Adult Basic Education (TABE) or successful completion of Reading 5 Program Prep. This course is designed for the student who intends to enter post-secondary education or the workplace or who is currently enrolled in a program.

Grading Policy:
A score of 85% is considered passing on tests and assignments.
A Course Guide Sheet will be used to record student progress.

Course Calendar:
Basic Education courses have open entry and open exit. The school year extends from July 1 through June 30. However, all Primary and Secondary Goals must be achieved during the school year in which the student is registered.
