Hotel & Restaurant Management

Sturgeon Bay Foods Lab

Construction has been finished on the foods lab on the Sturgeon Bay campus. The lab contains restaurant equipment and facilities for hands-on, active learning.

A summary of planned uses for the new food lab:

  • Currently offered Hotel & Restaurant Management courses in an improved environment.
  • Enhancement of Hotel & Restaurant Management courses to reinforce topics and provide more hands on learning opportunities.
  • Culinary courses to be used as electives for Hotel & Restaurant Management students interested in food service management careers.
  • Culinary courses for local chefs.
  • Culinary courses for local students interested in eventually obtaining a Culinary Arts Associate Degree from another college.
  • Non-credit food courses for professional food service employees.
  • Non-credit food courses for nonprofessionals interested in cooking.
  • Contract training to local restaurants.
