CLASS DESCRIPTION - This class covers the electron theory, electromotive force sources, DC circuits, voltage, current, series-parallel circuits, resistance's.

CLASS OUTCOMES: The student will......

  • summarize, in written form, the electron theory.
  • calculate voltage, current, resistance and power in a circuit.
  • correctly demonstrate the use of various testing equipment.
  • distinguish and analyze series, parallel and series-parallel DC circuits.
  • summarize the relationship of voltage, current and resistance in "Ohm’s Law".
  • solve and interpret the effects cross sectional area, length, type of material and temperature have on conductor resistance.
