Which program should I join? 

Choose the two-year Technical Diploma Auto Collision Repair and Refinish technician

Emphasis is on the technical training to learn the skills and techniques for:

  • repair and replacement of vehicle panels
  • automotive glass repair and replacement
  • frame and unibody damage analysis and straightening
  • welding
  • electronics diagnosis
  • plastics and composite material repair
  • refinishing

OR choose the two-year Associate Degree in Auto Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology

Provides all of the technical training, and also provides the opportunity to:

  • Pursue a supervisory or management career
  • Pursue an automotive industry related career
  • Transfer credit to a 4-year college

Quality Auto Collision Repair and Refinishing Technicians are in high demand through out the country. As the level of technology in vehicle construction increases, the demands for technicians trained in the repair of that technology also increases. A recent industry survey listed over 24,000 employment positions available. The survey showed the average income of a qualified technician was $41,000 with the top 10% averaging over $72,000.
