Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society of the Two Year College

"The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence."

Criteria for Admission:

• Enrollment in an Associate Degree Program
• Grade Point Average of 3.5 (maintained)
• 12 Associate Degree Credits Completed

How to Apply:

Use your Student ID Number, rather than your Social Security Number. Please use your NWTC email address.

1. Pay the One-Time $60.00 Membership Fee

You may mail or bring in your completed application, along with your membership fee (check or money order ONLY) made out to NWTC Phi Theta Kappa to one of the following:

Please include your Student ID number on the front of your check or money order.

We consider the receipt of all applications to be those of pending members; however, once your fees have been processed, your membership will be official (at NWTC and Phi Theta Kappa).
