“The certificates provide a great opportunity for Shawano area residents to expand their skills and knowledge and attend college classes close to home,” said Debbie White, NWTC West Regional Coordinator.
Certificate programs are designed to help busy students learn skills in short blocks of time. Ranging from 6 to 18 credits, the certificate programs are groupings of courses that can help students enter a new field, change fields quickly, or improve their skills in an existing field.
Even students with major work and family responsibilities can fit the certificate programs into their busy lifestyles. NWTC offers many flexible learning options, including weekend and evening classes, online classes, interactive television classes, accelerated formats, and more. |
