Steering Committee meetings are scheduled for the

first Friday of each month. Following are dates for

the remainder of 2007: September 7, 10:00 AM; October

5, 1:00 PM; November 2, 10:00 AM; December 7, 10:00

AM. The meetings are held in Room 149 at NWTC, 229 N.

14th Ave. , Sturgeon Bay. All members of DCLIR are

invited to attend the Steering Committee meetings.

LIR Volunteer Opportunities

This program is operated solely on volunteer energy. Please be a part of it so that the program can continue. Following are some opportunities:

Curriculum Committee – chooses topics and presenters per participant interest. Coordinators are needed for each class to assist presenters.

Finance/Administration Committee – develops an annual LIR budget and oversees the financial matters of the organization.

Promotion/Membership Committee – oversees publicity, website, newsletter and promotes LIR to the greater community.

Social Committee – plans and oversees social events for LIR members.

The planning and execution of the program is as enriching as the actual course offerings. Please do not hesitate to help. As this is a new program, we are all learning as we go! Know you are needed.
