College Preview Nights

Visit the NWTC Green Bay campus and see the technology available to students, plus talk to instructors, counselors, and current students to find out more about specific programs. Contact: Erica Gilson at 920-498-6817

Tech Awareness Articulation

High school teachers, curriculum directors, administrators, and counselors will learn about significant changes to courses, program requirements, and high school advance standing agreements at the Green Bay campus. Pre-Registration is required to attend. Contact: Susan Moumblow at 920-498-5422

 

Class Shadows/Career Center

Arrange time to observe a class, explore a career, and meet our instructors - or come to the Career Center to explore various career options with a variety of exploration tools for all ages. Call: 920-498-5422

Campus Career Days

Juniors and seniors have the opportunity to explore career options available at the Green Bay campus. Students will learn about admissions, financial aid, and career opportunities through divisional tours.

Asian High School College Preview

will give Asian High School students the opportunity to explore our Green Bay campus and interact with staff. Contact: Yia Thao at 498-6895 or John Grant at 498-6984.

Tech Awareness For Special Education Teachers

Special Ed teachers will learn about changes to courses, program requirements, and other relevant information. Pre-Registration is required to attend. Contact: Cindy Dahlman 920-498-6267

Professional Support Staff Seminar

High school student services support staff and career center coordinators have the opportunity to learn more about NWTC programs, admissions policies, financial aid, and graduate follow-up.

Middle School Career Day

Middle schools have the opportunity to bring 45 7th or 8th grade students to NWTC to explore career opportunities through three one-hour sessions that teach daily job responsibilities, education requirements, and future job opportunities.

Chamber Career Expo

Over 100 area businesses promote career awareness, career planning, and employment opportunities in the Greater Green Bay area to sophomores from 10 school districts.

High School Visits

NWTC representatives visit 70 district high schools 3-4 times a year to develop career awareness and discuss educational opportunities. To request a visit, contact Jackie Weier at 920-498-5473 or Julie Taylor at 920-498-5586.

School Counselor Clinic

Middle School visits/Tech Camp

3-day career camps offered June-August around Northeast Wisconsin. Students grades 5-8 explore careers through hands-on activities.

Tech Challenge / Knowledge Bowl
