| Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and Milwaukee School Of Engineering have signed a 2 + 2 transfer agreement. It allows graduates of NWTC's Electrical Engineering Technology associate degree program (who meet certain requirements) to transfer as juniors into MSOE's EET bachelor's degree program.
What is a 2 + 2 transfer agreement?
- It means that a two-year degree from NWTC plus two years of further study at a four-year college or university result in a four-year degree.
- Colleges can accept transfer students without having to evaluate each course for each individual.
- Courses in NWTC electronics program provide the skills MSOE requires for transfer.
- NWTC developed just four new "bridge" courses in calculus and electronic circuit analysis to complete the agreement.
A 2+2 plan can save students money
By starting at NWTC, students are qualified for high-demand jobs after only two years, so they can earn a living while they complete their bachelor's degrees. In addition, some jobs include tuition reimbursement, so by qualifying for a job early, graduates get extra help financing their education.
Why start a four-year degree at NWTC?
- Small class sizes
- Direct contact with a highly qualified faculty
- Cost savings
- Location close to home
- Flexible learning options like self-paced, online and accelerated classes
- Graduates can qualify for high-demand jobs after only two years
What are the job prospects for Electrical Engineering graduates?
