| Working as an indentured apprentice
for an HVAC contractor, apprentices complete work experience
in the following areas: Air Balance, Combustion Controls,
Start-up and Certification of Comfort Systems, Installation
(heating and cooling systems, Maintenance, and Equipment
Connections. |

QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPRENTICESHIP:
Education: High school graduates or GED® (submit copy)
Math: One year of high school Algebra, with a grade of C or
better (high school Algebra or Algebra are available through
the NWTC Skills Center)
Age: 18 or high school graduate at 17, no maximum
Test: GATB (general Aptitude Test Battery) taken at local
Job Service Office
License: Valid driver's license (submit copy)
Other: Birth Certificate (submit copy) |
| LENGTH OF CONTRACT - 4 years of not less than
8,000 hours
OJT (on-the-job-training) - 7,500 hours with a licensed plumber
as per Exhibit "A"
Paid-Related Instruction (Day School) - 576 hours and successful
completion of curriculum
Unpaid-Related Instruction (Night School) - First Aid, CPR,
OSHA |

meeting with the Committee will be scheduled. |
