To receive a Federal Stafford Student loan at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, you must be able to answer yes to ALL of the following questions:

1. Have you been accepted into an eligible program at NWTC?
2. Have you applied for Federal Financial Aid through the FAFSA form, has it been processed, and the results received at NWTC?
3. Has your Financial Aid Award letter been sent to you for the school year that you want the loan for?
4. Have you been awarded a Federal Stafford Loan for the same school year?
5. Are you a first-time loan borrower at NWTC? If so, you must complete the Stafford Loan Entrance Counseling before any loan proceeds will be disbursed. To satisfy this requirement, please follow the link to complete the Loan Entrance Counseling.
